Alahna Krueger, EVP
Alahna guides the global team and has been at the helm of the creative and passionate team that is AMBER. Under her leadership, the innovative thinking and proprietary methods have made AMBER the only corporate housing name you need. Outside the office Alahna is obsessed with cooking, reading, boating and binge-watching her favorite tv shows from her exercise machine.
Chris Sands, Global Operations Director
Chris started with AMBER Lodging Co. in 2001 while attending St. Edwards University. Today, Chris is our secret weapon, being impossibly dependable and hard-wired for results. When Chris isn’t solving immediate global housing challenges, he loves golf, spending time with his family, grilling and golf. And on occasion, he also plays golf.
Christopher Barnett, Global Business Development Manager
Chris initially joined us in 2010 to develop a Global sales team. Today, Chris leads our global external facing business development team. Chris’s mobility-savvy pedigree includes international program management experience in everything from tech firms to global law firms. Chris is a die-hard San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan. His passion for travel and all things World Cup Soccer keeps him constantly in the friendly skies.
Amanda Phillips, Global Operations Manager
Amanda joined AMBER in 2016. On the job, Amanda is a combination of magic paired with just a hint of Lion Tamer/Martha Stewart. Today, Amanda works directly for Chris Sands, aligning his vision to our client’s needs. Amanda directly oversees our Global Service Agents, client RFPs and bid requests—deftly weaving her OFF-the-charts “GET IT DONE” mentality with her ability to bring AMBER’s Ops teams together for the best client outcomes. When she’s not at work, Amanda can be found being walked by her two Frenchies at a doggie park, lounging in her stylish home while binge watching anything Nordic or Viking related. And wearing her cowboy boots. Always the boots.
Marilyn Walewangko, Accounting/Supplier Relations and Guest Experience Manager
Marilyn joined AMBER in 2008 rising quickly into a leadership role. Marilyn has worked both on-site and off including a four month stay at her family’s retreat in her home country of Indonesia. Known for her innate ability to read complex financial ledgers and leap tall buildings, Marilyn works tirelessly to support our client’s global finance needs as well as manages our service and experience team. Afterhours, we’re not sure Marilyn ever sleeps – as she stays busy with a successful online clothing boutique, supporting the Indonesian community here in Texas, and enjoying cruises with her husband and their two fabulous, beautiful girls.
